Remove makeup stains from marble. It would seem that a creamy, oily mixture would do a marble good, but ingredients in makeup, peanut butter, margarine, milks and creams can seep in and create dark stains. Then, apply a poultice made with baking soda and acetone. Unfortunately, rust stains are the most difficult of stains to remove from marble.
